    How will my order be delivered to me?
    Your order would be delivered through reputed courier companies at your doorstep.
    How will I know if order is placed successfully?
    Once your Order is successfully placed, you will receive a confirmation over email and text message from Umaiyal.com This mail will have all the details related to your order. Order details can also be viewed at My Account > My Orders if you have placed the order on your own online.
    I tried placing order using my credit card but it isn't working. Can you help me place an order?
    No, currently we donot take orders over phone.
    I tried placing my order using my debit card/credit card/Net Banking but the order was not successful. What happens to the money deducted from the card?
    Please check your bank/credit card account to first ensure if your account has been debited. If your account has been debited after a payment failure, it is normally rolled back by banks within 7 business days. The time taken can vary from bank to bank and we unfortunately won't be able to expedite this. Please check with your bank for more details.
    If your bank informs you otherwise please get back to us. If the money has been credited to our account we would initiate refund within 3 days of your request. Receipt of the refund would however depend on the mode of payment mode chosen by you.
    The expected timelines are as below:
     - Net Banking 2-4 business days
     - Debit Card 5-7 business days
     - Credit Card 7-21 business days
    I tried placing my order using my debit card/credit card/Net Banking but the order was not successful. What happens to Umaiyal Credits deducted from my Account?
    In case your order is not successful and  Credits has been deducted from your account money has been credited to our account we would proactively initiate refund within 3 days.
    How do I check the status of my order?
    Your order status is updated to you via emails and sms at every step. Once your order is placed you would receive a sms and an email with your order details. Again after your order is dispatched we send you a sms with your tracking details. Please check your spam and old sms-es for the status of your order, if you don't see any updates. In case of any unforeseen events which delay your order you would receive a special update from our end.
    Can I cancel my order?
    If you wish to cancel your order, get in touch with Customer Care as soon as possible with your order number. As long as your order has not been dispatched we can cancel it and refund your amount.

    If your order has been dispatched but yet to be delivered, please do not accept delivery and contact Customer Care to inform them of the same. In case of prepaid orders Refunds will be processed as per our Return policies. Any Umaiyal.com Credits used in the purchase of the Order will be credited back to your account.

    For certain product categories such as Cosmetics once you place an order, it cannot be cancelled. 
    I got a confirmation call for my order. Why is that?
    You receive a confirmation call for your order to verify if there isn't any change with your order.
    Can I place a bulk order for an item(s)?
    No, Bulk orders cannot be placed through Umaiyal.com as the website only caters to end customers.
    How do I do a trial of the product I purchased?
    We don't offer trial facility as of now. 
    Do you allow exchanges?
    Have you ordered a size too small or too big? No problem! We offer exchange for our customers too. Please read up our exchange policies for details.
    Can I add an item to my order after I have placed my order?
    Unfortunately no, however you can simply place another order.
    How do I track my Order?
    - Email and sms are sent to you after the Order is shipped that contains the tracking number and name of the logistics provider.
    - Visit the website of the logistics provider and enter the tracking number for your shipment details.     Please find the list below

    What payment methods do you accept?
    - We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard or Netbanking.
    - We also accept payment via "cash on Delivery" at the time of the delivery of the product. However this mode of payment has a convenience charge associated with it.
    - For certain categories with high value items such as precious jewelry, only Debit Card/Credit Card and NetBanking options are available.
    Is it safe to shop online using my Debit card or Credit Card?
    All credit card, Debit Card and net banking transactions are processed over a secure encrypted connection. So no worries here!
    What is the process for Cash on Delivery (COD) purchase?
    When you make a purchase using the COD option, your product will be booked. You will receive a call from us to confirm your Order before it gets dispatched. If you are unreachable or unable to attend the call, please contact us if you are still interested in receiving the product.
    Is there a charge for Cash on Delivery purchases?
    No, we donot levy any charges on Cash on Delivery
    Is there a purchase limit for Cash on Delivery purchase?
    Yes, Cash on Delivery option is available on purchases up to a limit of Rs. 20,000, beyond which purchases can only be made using Netbanking or Creditcard.
    How can I pay if COD option is not available on my address?
    If COD option is not available on your address you can always opt for NetBanking or Credit/Debit Card. In case you don't have a NetBanking or Debit Card option please contacts your bank for Debit Card/Credit Card issue.
    Are there any hidden charges?
    There are absolutely no hidden charges. Any octroi or sales tax is actually borne by Umaiyal. You pay only the amount that you see in your order summary.
    What should I do if my payment fails?
    - In case of a payment failure, please retry ensuring:
    Information passed on to payment gateway is accurate i.e. account details, billing address, password (for net banking) Your Internet connection is not disrupted in the process.
    - If your account has been debited after a payment failure, it is normally rolled back to your bank account within 7 business days. You can email us on care@umaiyal.com or please give us a call with your order number for any clarification.
    I see debit transactions in my Bank Statement from Umaiyal but I have never shopped with Umaiyal. What do I do?
    - If you see any charges on your credit/debit card for purchases made on umaiyal.com, but you have never created an account or signed up, please check with your family members or business colleagues authorized to make purchases on your behalf.
    - If you're still unable to recognize the charge, please report the unauthorized purchase within 60 days of the transaction so that we can look into it.
    Why isn't COD available to me?
    Cash on Delivery (COD) option is not offered by our Courier partners at few serviceable locations. Also, COD option is not available on some of our products. Hence, based on your location and your choice of products, COD option may not be available to you. However, you can always opt for payment through Net Banking or Credit/Debit Card.

    We also restrict Cash on Delivery facility for certain customers based on our long-term experience. To know more, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
    Do you accept International Card?
    - Yes. We are one of the very few online shopping sites in India that doesn't create geographical boundaries in the world of fashion.
    - Your Billing Address should be the same as your Shipping Address in India. This does not in any way affect the success of your transaction.
    - There may be an internal upper limit on the amount of international transaction fixed by our Payment Gateway Partner which changes from time to time and the same is not disclosed to Umaiyal. This is to provide a safe and secure shopping experience to our customers.

    How long will my order take to arrive?
    An estimated delivery time is displayed on the Order Summary page. On placing your order, you will receive an email containing a summary of the order and also the estimated delivery time to your location.
    Sometimes, delivery may take longer due to bad weather, flight delays, political disruptions and other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will proactively reach out to you. Please check your emails and SMS regularly for such updates.
    Are there any shipping charges?
    Umaiyal.com offers absolutely free shipping on most products in India..
    Why is the delivery time different for different products?
    - All products in our catalogue are directly shipped from these partner locations. These are marked as "Sold by Partner" and usually take 5-8 business days to reach your doorstep.
    - Some products in our catalogue are heavy or bulky and shipped through our surface logistics partner. These orders may usually take 12-15 business days and their delivery may not be possible at a few select locations. Also, delivery may not be possible at a few select locations. Please read the details available on the product page carefully before placing the order.
    Will I receive my order in a single package?
    Product will reach you in separate packages and may reach you on different days.
    Can I expect delivery on all days of the week?
    You can expect delivery of your order on business days. Business days are defined as all working days from Monday to Saturday, excluding national and state holidays
    Do you ship internationally?
    No, currently we do not ship internationally.
    Why did I receive a partial Order?
    - Please check if your order contains items with different delivery time. Items with different delivery time are shipped to you separately so please don't worry your item is on its way.
    - In some instances, there could be an item in your order that may have failed our Quality Check, which is done prior to dispatch, and don't have an alternate QC passed item. In such an event you may be sent that part of the Order that is available in stock. Be assured that we will make every attempt to procure the product/s unless cancelled by you.
    In case we are unable to fulfill your purchase we will refund you the payment made towards that item.
    I am going out of town. Can you expedite my delivery?
    We, at Umaiyal take immense pride in being lightning fast. The current logistics infrastructure in India today doesn't allow us to expedite further at this time.

    What is Umaiyal.com's Returns policy?
    Umaiyal.com's Return and Exchange Policy offers you the option to return or exchange items purchased on going to the section 'My Umaiyal' within 7 days of the receipt. In case of returns, we will credit the amount you paid for the products as cash back into your Umaiyal cash back account. If you choose to exchange the item for reason of mismatch of size or receipt of a defective item, you will be provided with a replacement of the item, free of cost. However an exchange is subject to availability of the item in our stock.
    What is Umaiyal.com's7 Day Exchange Policy
    We mean what we say! All you need to do is give us a call on 0124-4033750 (24X7) or drop an email at care@umaiyal.com within a period of 7 days, from the date of order.
    However, you must understand that we can't bear a loss either; so exchange of products will be accepted only if the products are returned in a saleable condition with the tags intact and in their original packaging, in an unwashed and undamaged condition.
     The following EXCEPTIONS and RULES apply to this Policy: 
    - Please note that "Umaiyal.com's 7 Day Returns Policy" does not apply to Inner wear, Lingerie, Fragrances, Beauty products, Jewellery, Swimsuits, Socks.
    - Refund/ replacement for goods/ merchandise are subject to inspection and checking by Umaiyal team.
    - Damages due to neglect, improper usage or application will not be covered under our Returns Policy.
    - Some special rules for promotional offers may override "Umaiyal.com's 7 Day Returns Policy."
    -  Please note that the Cash on Delivery convenience charge and the shipping charge would not be included in the refund value of your order as these are non-refundable charges.
    Can I return a part of my order?
    Yes, you may return a part of the Order, in case of multiple items in an order. Any product being returned needs to be returned in full including all components as well as any complimentary gifts or products which came along with it. 
    However, if your purchase was made in the period of a special promotional offer, contests or any special scheme then special rules might apply for returns.
    How long will the return process take?
    Once your return request has been placed with Customer Service, it usually takes about 72 hrs. To have the product picked from your place and another 7 days to initiate replacement subject to product inspection. In case you are sending the product back on your own, the delivery time would depend on your chosen courier. Once the item is received by our vendor, it undergoes a Product Inspection which takes about 2 days. Typically the replacements are initiated within 2 days after product inspection. 
    How do I get a refund ?
    All refunds made by Umaiyal.com will be in the form of Umaiyal Gift Vouchers which can be used for further purchases from Umaiyal.com.

    All refunds made by Umaiyal.com will be in the form of Umaiyal Gift Vouchers which can be used for further purchases from Umaiyal.comHowever in certain exceptional cases like damaged product received or no product received where the refunds need to be made.We take anywhere from 7-15 working days to complete your refund request. The refund amount will be credited in the same account as you had made the payment from.

     If the mode of payment was cash on delivery (COD), we will send you a cheque on the same address at which the order was placed. It normally takes 7-15 days for the cheque to reach you depending upon the courier services. 

    Please note that the refunds are dependent on external agencies such as banks, payment gateways and external couriers (for cheques).

    - Debit card/credit card/netbanking : 5-7 working days from the refund initiation date
    - NEFT transfer : 5-7 working days from the refund initiation date.
    How do I return a product?
    You can return a product hassle free in a few simple steps. However, do give us a call and we can help you with the steps to follow in case of return:
    1) Place your item in its original packaging.
    2) Please mention your Name, Order Number, and Mobile Number, on the top of the box, and insert the original invoice
    3) Keep the product and the package ready in case of an Umaiyal Pick up
    4) If you are sending it on your own make sure you seal it properlyYou can choose to:
    (a) Schedule a pickup using our logistics partner, at our cost, by calling us , or(
    b) Send it at your convenience at the address given to you by our customer care executive.

    It may also happen that our logistic partners may not have a pick up facility available in your area, even though it may have been delivered by them. Under such circumstances we hope you understand that we may request you to send it to our address as mentioned above in 4.(b) 
    Where do I return my product?
    Please check with our customer care if we cover your city for pickup and we do in most cases. If however your city is not covered or if you wish to send the product on your own please contact our customer care for the address at which the product can be sent.
    I was charged shipping charges for my order. If I return my order, will I get back my shipping charge along with the refund?
    Shipping charge would not be included in the refund value of your order as this is a non-refundable 
    Can I buy multiple items in exchange for a single product?
    Yes, you can buy any number of items in exchange provided the final price of exchanged products should be equal to or more than the price of returned items.
    Can I re-exchange?
    If you are still dissatisfied with the product, you can again exchange the product for any item (covered in exchange policy).
    Can I cancel the exchange?
    If you wish to cancel your exchange order, get in touch with Customer Care as soon as possible with your order number. As long as your order has not been dispatched we can cancel it and refund your amount in form of Umaiyal Credits. 

    If your order has been dispatched but yet to be delivered, please do not accept delivery and contact Customer Care to inform them of the same. Refunds will be processed as per our Return policies. Any Umaiyal Credits used in the purchase of the Order will be credited back to your account.
    Is exchange applicable if my delivery and return addresses are different?
    Yes. Please get in touch with us if we can arrange for pickup in your area. Currently exchange in not operational in areas where we cannot arrange pick up. We are working constantly to bring exchange in your area.
    How do I get a refund ?
    All refunds made by Umaiyal.com will be in the form of Umaiyal Gift Vouchers which can be used for further purchases from Umaiyal.com.

    Do I need to register to shop?
     It is not necessary to register with us to shop. However, Registration with us helps speed up the ordering process for you and allows us to keep you informed about your orders and refund through email. 
    By registering, will I automatically receive marketing emails from you?
    Registering with us does not automatically subscribe you to our newsletter. If you don't wish to receive our newsletter just click on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.
    What do I do if I have forgotten my password or my password does not work?
    If you have forgotten your password, we will need to reset it for you. Please click here to reset your password.
    Do I need to type my address every time I order?
    Address once used will be saved in My Account -> Address book link. You can go to your Address Book and modify your default Shipping (delivery) address and Billing address. 
    You can also add more addresses using Add a new address button. 
    You can select any of the addresses instead of typing the shipping address while you are ordering.
    The item I bought is now available at a lower price. What do I do?
    Unfortunately there is not much that can be done now. Please subscribe to our newsletter and 'like' us on Facebook to know of the latest styles and all the current deals.
    I see similar items with different prices. Why so?
    It is possible to have similar items with different prices. Price of an item depends on numerous factors.
